Phil's Bio
West Michigan native Phil Tower, was born just north of a swamp near Greenville, Michigan, in a time well before disco. He's a proud grad of Greenville High school, and Phil's a two-time graduate of Central Michigan University, Phil's survived past jobs as a roller-skating rink disc jockey, a burger flipper, and even a short and emotionally-trying stint as a soft rock DJ.
He's a bonafide radio veteran, with over 27 years of on-air experience in Country, Rock, & Oldies to name just a few. Most -recently he was known the guy who ran NEWSRADIO WOOD 1300 & WTKG AM, both sister-stations of 101.3 The Fox. Phil's the proud son of Ray & Mary Tower...parents who were smart enough to NOT talk him out of a career in radio.
He and his family still reside near Greenville, not far from the swamp where he was born. Catch Phil Weekends on 101.3 The Fox!
